ImagePixel policies

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ImagePixel handles information when you use the browser-based image-to-pixel-art converter.

Last updated: August 29, 2026

Information We Collect

When you select an image, the current conversion workflow reads and processes that image in your browser. ImagePixel does not upload source images to its server during the conversion workflow.

ImagePixel uses Google Analytics to understand aggregated site and tool usage. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include in your email so we can handle that request.

ImagePixel is independently operated and is not affiliated with Mojang, Microsoft, or any palette, game, or platform referenced for descriptive purposes.

Advertising, Google Services, and Cookies

ImagePixel uses Google Analytics to understand aggregated site and tool usage. Advertising is not currently enabled. If Google AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve and measure ads.

Google's use of advertising cookies may enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to ImagePixel and other websites. Users can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Other advertising vendors may provide additional opt-out controls.

Before serving personalized ads to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, ImagePixel will use an applicable Google-certified consent management platform where required.

ImagePixel does not intentionally send uploaded image content, email addresses, phone numbers, or other directly identifying information in analytics or advertising requests.

For more information, see Google's explanation of data use on partner sites and apps.

Image Processing

Image processing takes place in the user's browser. The converter can adjust pixel or grid size, apply built-in palettes, show color counts, and create PNG results without sending the source image to ImagePixel during the conversion workflow.

The site may still receive ordinary page requests and analytics requests. This local-processing statement applies to the source image handled by the converter, not to every network request made by a browser visiting the site.

Privacy Requests and Contact

Questions, privacy requests, corrections, and copyright or trademark concerns can be sent to support@imagepixel.net. Please do not email sensitive images, identity documents, passwords, or other personal identity information.

See the Contact page for the available request categories.

We may update this page when the site or its data practices change. The "Last updated" date above will identify the current version.
