What this tool does

ImagePixel turns an image into a pixelated version in your browser. You can change the pixel-block size, keep the original colors or choose one built-in retro palette, compare the result, and download it as a PNG.

It is a focused converter. It does not offer a custom palette editor, JPG or WebP export, AI generation, or automatic edge enhancement.

How to pixelate an image

  1. Open the pixelator and choose an image from your device.
  2. Use the pixel-size control. A larger block size creates a chunkier result; a smaller block size keeps more of the source detail.
  3. Keep Original colors or select one of the included palettes, then compare the image and download the PNG when it looks right.

Why local processing matters

The converter works in the browser: ImagePixel does not upload your image to its server for this conversion. That is useful when you only need a quick visual treatment and prefer to keep the source file on your device.
